AOTW - Week 7; Britney Spears - Femme Fatale

This weeks album comes as a suggestion from the other half. She loves Britney spears. So I decided I'd give some of her "newer" stuff a try.




Favourite Track: None. They actually all sound the same

Least Favourite Track: The one with William (will.i.am) - Big Fat Bass

Summary: My god! I can see why people like her, it's upbeat, very poppy, and non-offensive. But this sounds like every track has been run through Auto Tune by some over excited adolescent who has just discovered Auto Tune.

Would I Listen Again? No.

Last week I decided to pop along and take a look at the Mollusc, based on the edge of Chesterfield in a small park by a housing estate. Originally I wanted to be there for sunset, but when I went by, there were a fair few kids playing football on the park. Not wanting to either be hassled, or have parents come out, I decided to leave it. So I went back later in the afternoon - fully expecting it to be busy. Going To Try And Be More Regular

Ok, so it's now the middle of September. At the start of the year I set myself a challenge to create a video a week - which I've really been trying my best to do.  A couple of these videos have led to people contacting myself to help them create a video for their company/charity or whatever. YAY! The latest video I'm working on is for Chesterfield Operatic Society, which is of a World Premiere of Nicholas Nickleby.

Working On Nicholas Nickleby

My editing set up As I mentioned in the last post, I'm currently working on a promotional video for the World Premiere of a musical adaptation of Nicholas Nickleby. Whilst working on this edit, I was chatting online to one of my "online buddies" Godwyn, and started talking about the editing process. It was then I realised, how complex it can get - even for a small YouTuber like me. God knows how they go on when editing for a blockbuster film. For this video, I started off by creating a simple animated introduction using Adobe After Effects. I then created a bunch of "lower 3rds" for the cast/staff that I knew would be on camera. From there, I then use the dynamic link feature in Premiere Pro to drag these in and over the top of your video.
