This one was a suggestion from my 75 year old pool playing friend. I've heard of them, but couldn't name any of their songs.... So let's see what it's all about.



Favourite Track: Money For Nothing, Walk Of Life

Least Favourite Track: There wasn't one to pick really

Summary: What can I see, very typical 80s.... And I like it. Must be to do with me being an 80s/90s kid (born 84). Money For Nothing and Walk Of Life, very typical of the 80s, up beat and dancing away at the discotheque :D Love it!

Would I Listen Again? Errrmmmm.... it probably wouldn't spring to my head straight away, but if someone suggested it, definitely!

The Mollusc - AKA "Chesterfield Snail"

Last week I decided to pop along and take a look at the Mollusc, based on the edge of Chesterfield in a small park by a housing estate. Originally I wanted to be there for sunset, but when I went by, there were a fair few kids playing football on the park. Not wanting to either be hassled, or have parents come out, I decided to leave it. So I went back later in the afternoon - fully expecting it to be busy. Other than 1 dog walker, who left after about 5 minutes, I was all on my own.

Working On Nicholas Nickleby

My editing set up As I mentioned in the last post, I'm currently working on a promotional video for the World Premiere of a musical adaptation of Nicholas Nickleby. Whilst working on this edit, I was chatting online to one of my "online buddies" Godwyn, and started talking about the editing process. It was then I realised, how complex it can get - even for a small YouTuber like me. God knows how they go on when editing for a blockbuster film. For this video, I started off by creating a simple animated introduction using Adobe After Effects. I then created a bunch of "lower 3rds" for the cast/staff that I knew would be on camera. From there, I then use the dynamic link feature in Premiere Pro to drag these in and over the top of your video.
