Project "BBQ Deck House" - A Tweak To The Plans

Over the weekend I was looking at the designs again, and decided to start adding measurements to the plans. That's when I noticed I got the front face wrong. Instead of being 8.1m, I did it at 8.0m. Not a massive amount, but enough that meant I needed to revise the plans.

So that is what I have done over the last few days. I've also tweaked the right hand side. Instead of 2 small frames, I'm going for 1 bigger frame, and have added the beams to work around the brick BBQ.

These plans aren't yet complete, but here is what I have so far (the joists in the "main frame" are about 550mm apart). Oh, and I also mocked up a summer house to get an idea of what area would be left for general seating etc.

Thank god for planning early.
